S.O. 862(E).--In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4, Clause (4) of Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Section 6 of the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, the Central Pollution Control Board delegates all its powers and functions vested in the said Board under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, and the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 in respect of the Union Territories of Daman, Diu, Dadra & Nagar Haveli to the undermentioned committee specified by the Central Government with immediate effect:
